NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Bruce Springsteen performed for the first time in 2019 when he took to the stage at New York’s Tribeca Grill on Saturday night to perform with Danny Clinch and his Tangiers Blues Band.

Clinch and company were performing as the featured entertainment of “A Night to Remember” a benefit concert to support the Kristen Ann Carr Fund, which raises money and awareness to fight sarcoma, a form of cancer.

The gala was also attended by fellow E-Streeter Roy Bittan, Fox reported.

According to Fox News, the benefit also featured a silent auction that included an autographed print of a picture of Springsteen on the beach, which was featured on the cover of Variety in 2017. The auction also included a full set of custom E Street Band bobblehead dolls, which commanded an auction price of more than $10,000, and a guitar autographed by Pearl Jam.

Springsteen and the E Street Band have been off the road and have previously indicated that they had no tour plans in 2019, but has hinted that he’s interested in bringing his well-received Springsteen on Broadway show to other markets.

“I am looking forward to doing some other things and at some point I will probably get back to [‘Springsteen on Broadway’], or something like it in the future, because it was such an enjoyable format to work in,” Springsteen told Sirius XM E Street Radio host Dave Marsh in a recent interview.

The B’way residency was a success by any definition. The show, which featured Springsteen performing five nights a week, was originally planned to run from October 12 through November 26th but was extended twice due to high demand, finally coming to an end in December 2018. All told, the residency included 236 shows and grossed an estimated $113 million.
